I am certified for AWS Solutions Architect - Associate. Experience includes designing and implementing secure network environments, sizing and costing, managing user and firewall security, resizing instance types and volumes, setting up SSH tunnels and migrating systems to AWS.
I am certified for SAP Portal. Experience includes implementing SAP Portal at Barclays Bank PLC for 85,000 users, performance optimisation for the SAP Portal at Deloitte (14,000 users), patching and upgrades, user management, SSO and TLS configuration, issue troubleshooting and resolution at multiple clients.
Design small and large-scale solutions, including system upgrades, service integrations and on-premise to cloud migrations.
Manage small to medium size teams, spanning UK, USA and India. Have worked in multiple highly secure locations (MOD SC cleared).
SAP BASIS since 1999. Full end-to-end stack, SAP Portal certified. Designed, implemented, troubleshooted and supported a number of solutions, across several different environments, for many globally recognised companies.
Have created several personal and commercial websites. I enjoy working on the UI, UX and all the things you don't see behind the scenes (making sites that perform well, have good SEO and SEM, A/B testing, e-mail strategy, etc).
Since 1999, I have only worked for 3 companies (Barclays Bank, Deloitte and Capgemini), but I have worked for over 20 recognisable clients in roles and locations all over the UK, as well as 2 weeks in Johannesburg and remote support/consulting to companies in Belgium, Switzerland and the CIS.
Depending on the project requirements, my role is SAP Technical Architect, SAP BASIS Team Lead and SAP BASIS Administrator – usually a combination of the first two.
In my spare time, I enjoy designing and developing websites (including GreatToSay, SelfCrypto and Moorespeed), cars, personal finance, photography, various sports and (with 2 young children) family events.
